w00t! So I'm finally in college and hoping to do some more art and literature. Don't know when I'll have time but I am hoping to have some. Classes are great, I'm single, I can flirt, and things are great thus far.
Hope all are doing well.

An April Fool's Joke Call it a cruel joke,An April Fool's Joke by ~Tony-Faust-de-Arme
Call it what you may,
But instead of the usual today,
I am wisked to the baroque
No more tears or taunts
Snides or sneers
Jabs or leers
Nothing here that haunts
Music fills the air
Laughter floats without a care
Dresses swirl in sweet perfume
Coat tails bow like elegant plumes
April fool will be no more
Only friendship and love
Recline to watch the flight of a dove
As April showers begin to pour

Elegy Pure and free the wind howled over the hills.Elegy by ~Tony-Faust-de-Arme
Where once there stood a capital,
now there stands a ruin.
Rings of stone, piles of wood are all that remain

Warriors gathered ready to go out to war
ready to scout out their enemies and route them from their place.
Chiefs gathered in grand display
while smoke and fire danced between them.
Women ground corn and watched the children;
those who longed to gain some glimpse of a brave.
Where you could look for miles
seeing only trees and forests
undisturbed by western hands,
now is covered in concrete, steel, and glass.
Men would

The quite storm You see a mask. He smiles and laughs and adeptly quells fires of adversity. The quite storm by ~Tony-Faust-de-Arme
I see the back of the mask. My face is scarred, burned, and twisted. It is black from poison. Numb is the state I wish I could be in but it is nothing but a twisted anguish. When my mouth opens, a blackness pulls in and wants to consume all light. The winds rise and rain freezes against my body.
Tears are trails of blood because there are no tears left. My skin is ice, my hair ash, my body mangled. This is me behind the mask, this is the grief you cause me.
But oh how sadder still is that we both do this to a Greater God. We put on our masks but he sees our filth.
